ARMCG PRINCIPAL LEADS NATIONAL
ENGINEERING CERTIFICATION PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT ARMCG principal, David M. Roebuck, PE, CCM, chairs the Certification Program Committee of the National Academy of Building Inspection Engineers (NABIE), a chartered affinity group of the National Society of Professional Engineers. The objective of the certification program is to identify and recognize those engineers having a high level of knowledge and expertise in the field of building inspection engineering. Roebuck has worked with a committee of practicing engineers from NABIE to develop a Body of Knowledge (BOK) specific to building inspection engineering and an examination to test an applicant’s expertise relevant to the BOK. The program is being prepared in accordance with the guidelines of the Council of Engineering and Scientific Specialty Boards (CESB). Roebuck will present a program update along with the examination database of questions to the NABIE Board at their Annual Meeting in February 2006 in Tampa, Florida.
