NEW EMPLOYEE ENHANCES ARMCG STAFF 

(Athens, Ga.) Mr. M. Bret Thurmond, P.E. has joined the professional staff of Armentrout Roebuck Matheny Consulting Group, P.C.  Mr. Thurmond will serve as the firm's project manager in charge of international business development.

"Bret brings a wealth of engineering, manufacturing and international business development experience to our group. As we continue to expand domestically and internationally, Mr. Thurmond's management skills and his knowledge of the international business climate will be crucial to our continued success."

Mr. Thurmond was principal and co-founder of Electrostatic Spraying Systems of Watkinsville, Georgia, an agricultural equipment manufacturing company. The company designs, manufactures and sells spraying equipment for the agricultural industry, both domestically and internationally. During his work at ESS, Mr. Thurmond was responsible for managing business operations, international sales, manufacturing and engineering. Thurmond recently sold his share in the company to pursue the use of his engineering background in consulting.

Thurmond is a long-time resident of the Oconee County area. He is graduate of UGA and Virginia Tech. with bachelors and masters degrees in engineering. He is a professional engineer currently licensed in Alabama.

Thurmond will work with ARMCG in several areas. Initially, he will focus on administrative issues in an effort for the company to move towards a more efficient and integrated project management and accounting system. He also will focus on personnel management issues and international business development in a management role.

Armentrout Roebuck Matheny Consulting Group, P.C. is an Athens-based engineering, architectural and construction management firm providing infrastructure, design management and development services for domestic and international clients.
