ROEBUCK HONORED BY ENGINEERING GROUP New Orleans -- David M. Roebuck, PE, CCM, president of Armentrout Roebuck Matheny Consulting Group, PC of Athens, Georgia, was honored by the National Academy of Building Inspection Engineers (NABIE) at their Annual Conference in New Orleans on February 28, 2004. Roebuck, a past president and national officer of NABIE, was named by the organization as a Fellow of the Academy, an honor previously awarded to only two other NABIE members. The Fellow designation is bestowed upon those individuals who have "distinguished themselves in the building inspection profession" according to NABIE. Currently Roebuck is serving as chairman of NABIE's Building Inspection Engineer Certification program and is a member of the Board of Directors. I am honored that NABIE would consider me for this designation. NABIE is a great organization and I have thoroughly enjoyed my association with them over the years. I look forward to continuing to work with the Board and other NABIE members in pursuit of their overall goal of continuing to improve the building inspection engineering profession," Mr. Roebuck stated.
