	Armentrout Roebuck Matheny Consulting Group Joins U.S. Green Building Council Athens, GA-- The engineering and architectural firm of Armentrout Roebuck Matheny Consulting Group, PC (ARMCG) announced today that it has joined the U.S. Green Building Council. ARMCG Principal architect David Matheny, AIA, said, “ The U.S. Green Building Council is the pre-eminent organization in the building industry providing guidance for developers, owners, designers and builders who want to build in an environmentally sustainable manner. We are very pleased to join and support this organization”. Matheny added, “ARMCG has a unique interest in the environmental aspects of the building industry due to its environmental engineering division. We have incorporated this knowledge and expertise in many of our architectural projects”. Principals of ARMCG are currently pursuing LEED certification sponsored by the U.S. Green Building Council and plan to attend the National Green Building Conference in Atlanta in November.
