City of Winterville Senior Center

AMTpc was selected by the City of Winterville to provide Architectural, Civil & Engineering Services for their new Senior Center to be housed in the historic Winterville School. AMTpc provided the City with architectural support prior to grant application, provided Mayor and Council with advice and direction on grant proposal as well as provided the preliminary architectural report.
The time frame for submission was only 45 days from the date the Mayor and Council approved the project grant application. During the 45 days, AMTpc assisted to complete the grant application, develop the Preliminary Architectural Report and conducted the NEPA Environmental Review. In addition, AMTpc collaborated with the City on their leverage requirements by advising City Officials on use of their future SPLOST funds. AMTpc assisted the Northeast Georgia Regional Commission who developed the grant application.
The project was awarded $500,000 in Community Development Grant funds by DCA due in part to AMTpc’s close collaboration with the City of Winterville as facility owner and the Athens Community Council on Aging which will provide on-going programs at the facility.
