Piedmont College Art Gallery

Located in downtown Demorest, Georgia, these 1- and 2-story brick buildings once housed Piedmont College’s graphic design and drawing art studios. After AMTpc performed a building analysis and survey, the client decided to connect the current buildings into a combination art gallery and event space. The 2-story building will be given a new floor system, complete with a monumental stair, and will house the college’s permanent and rotating art collection. The adjacent 1-story building will provide an event space and catering kitchen to be used by Piedmont College and available to the Town of Demorest. As a modified design-build project, AMTpc is working closely with the client and the Contractor to fast track completion of the project in anticipation of the arrival of the new donated collection of art to Piedmont College.
